U.S. Army Garrison Schweinfurt is drawing down and Soldiers and Families are moving out. Many of you are PCSing to USAG Grafenwoehr.

Our goal is to reduce stress and ensure your safe and easy transition to Grafenwoehr. We’ve been coordinating with our counterparts at USAG Grafenwoehr to make sure you are armed with the right information for a smooth housing transition.

If you are moving to Graf, and you have orders in hand, here’s when you can get on the housing waiting list and when you can reserve your future quarters:

  • No earlier than 60 days prior to a Soldier’s arrival in Grafenwoehr: Soldiers and their Families can go on the Grafenwoehr housing waiting list.
  • No earlier than three weeks prior to a Soldier’s arrival in Grafenwoehr:

Soldiers and their Families will be granted a housing appointment and can reserve or even be assigned living quarters. This provides you an actual address used for shipment or delivery of your goods and facilitates “door to door” moves, minimizing the amount of transition time required and the number of nights spent in hotels.

If you meet these criteria, and you have your orders, contact the Grafenwoehr housing office at DSN 475-6192/6080, CIV 09641-83-6192/6080.

And if you need assistance while here in Schweinfurt, reach out to us, we are committed to making all of our Soldiers, Families and Civilians transitions as smooth as possible . Know who to ask and be sure to use the resources available at ACS or our PCS resources page at our Closure site.
